Fees, Insurance, and Retaining Services
I believe that access to quality mental health care should be straightforward and transparent. I am in-network with most major insurance plans and am happy to verify your coverage before we begin.
For those using out-of-network benefits or paying privately, I provide clear, itemized statements to help with reimbursement. My goal is to make the financial side of therapy as simple as possible, so you can focus on the work that matters most—your growth and well-being.
Insurances Taken
If you choose to use your insurance benefits you may be required to pay the practice a fee known as a copay or the cost of the appointment (known as the allowed amount) if you have not met your deductible yet. We do not have any control regarding this and encourage you to check your benefits prior to determine what your cost may be.

Retaining Services and Fees
For expert testimony, Private GAL work, and other extensive projects a retainer is required before work begins.
- Base Retainer amount: $2,000, due upon signing agreement
- During the initial consultation, we may determine that a higher retainer amount is necessary based on our experience with the typical time and work requirements for similar cases.
- The retainer balance will be applied toward services rendered in accordance with the fee schedule outlined above.
- Retainer fees are non-refundable for work that has been completed and must be replenished as services continue.
- Any unused retainer balance remaining after the formal conclusion of services will be refunded to the original source of payment.
Failure to pay the required fees may result in termination of services. Clients are responsible for any additional costs incurred, including administrative fees for late payments or cancellations.
Court-Appointed Services and CPCS Pay
For clients who qualify for court-appointed services or Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS) compensation, our fees and billing will comply with the regulations set forth by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or the relevant governing body. You as a client will not be billed directly for those services.
